About Wild Garlic Event Catering


Our Wild Garlic Event Catering journey started back in 2015 with a very simple aim, which was to provide food and service that truly delights. But first, let us take you back to our roots and to the pivotal moments that shaped who we are today.

We are Paul and Kevin, two brothers and two best friends, who absolutely LOVE food. Growing up food played a huge part in our lives which was mostly because of our beloved Grandad. Born in Cyprus and brought up around using fresh local ingredients and incorporating the Cypriot charm into his food was in his blood and it really stood out to those around him, which led to him serving in World War II as a Chef and he also worked in some of the finest eating establishments in Manchester, including The Midland Hotel.

So it was inevitable that Grandad's passion for creating and delivering first-class food was passed onto us, Paul and Kevin.

Now you may be wondering, two brothers working together, does it really work? Let us tell you this, the famous saying "Brothers stick together like glue", is true. Even before we started Wild Garlic Event Catering, we've always been inseparable and have shared the same dreams and career goals. Quite often when we were younger, we would eat out at desirable restaurants and admire the food and service, then go home and try to recreate something similar for our family with our own flair added in. Paul would do the cooking and Kevin would run front of house and even back then, our aim was to provide food and service that truly delights.

Skip forward a few years, Kevin has gathered a wealth of experience within Event Management and Customer Service roles and Paul's talents as a chef really became apparent. So when the idea of forming a bespoke catering company for weddings, events and special occasions came to life, we made the decision to go for it and continue Grandad's legacy in creating delicious food served to an exceptional standard.

This decision is by far one of our proudest moments because at the time, little did we know we would go on to become a multi-award winning catering company with some incredible accolades to our name, including:

Throughout our entire journey our core values have always remained the same with that family feeling always being at the forefront of everything we do. We use local ingredients wherever possible, every dish is plated and served to the highest standard of service, our team and our customers are always treated like family and throughout every decision we make here at Wild Garlic Event Catering, our mission for the future is to forever create food and service that truly delights.

How much does it cost to hire your services?

Each wedding will have it's own unique requirements so pricing is a start from dependent on where the wedding is held, what food is required, what catering services are required, what facilities are available to be used, all of this is discussed in detail at the quoiting stage to enable Wild Garlic to give a per head price which includes everything that our couples need for their catering.

Do you cater for special dietary needs?

All dietary needs are discussed in full from the outset up to and including the final details held approximately 6 weeks before the big day to ensure all guests are catered for.

Do you supply tableware?

We are able to provide all tableware which includes cutlery, linen napkins and table linen.

Do you supply waiting staff?

Staffing for the food service we are providing is included in our pricing.

Does we need to supply you with anything on the day?

This depends on the final menu chosen by you; we will go through all the details at the very beginning of the planning stages.

What makes you stand out from the competition?

We are a small family run business with an eye for the detail. All weddings we take on are controlled and organised by brothers Kevin and Paul and assisted by a very loyal and amazing team of staff. Our front of house manager Lindsay is a key member of the team who will look after most of our couples from the outset as well.
